For people who are unsure how to work with your community partner, I would recommend: 1) Review the notes of the section you will go over before the scheduled meeting; 2) Bring copies of workbook pages for yourself and your community partner (and potentially a laptop with the workbook so that you can edit directly). You may want to bring an example from the Solution book too, just in case you want to see an example during your discussion. 3) Discuss with the community partner TAKING VERY CAREFUL NOTES. Remember to clean up your work, if necessary, after the discussion while it is still fresh in your mind... preferably that night. 4) Bring a copy of the revised work to the next meeting. It is actually a good idea to get the fax number of where a fax can be sent to immediately after you have a cleaned-up version. The CS department office has a fax machine, and you can ask Connie or me to fax it for you. It is not a good idea to email your work to the community partner - unless it is an encrypted email... not a bad idea! I hope this helps! Dr Lincke
